WHO ARE You?
Of course, you know yourself from looking (sometimes) in the mirror, inspecting your body or looking at yourself on pictures. Maybe you already know what you “do wrong” …
But an exercised eye can detect little misalignments of your body parts that you are probably not aware of and most importantly, envisage connections between several body parts. These misalignments are not predictive of a problem. You may as well live the rest of your life without any trouble… Nevertheless, one misaligned part calls for
A typical example is the Forward Head posture. To balance your body, if your head protrudes a little, whether you need to tilt your rib cage or to use your shoulder/ neck muscles to catch back your head. And it might not stop there (see Sky Jump Champion syndrome). So any misalignment engages consequences that shapes your body and impacts the way you feel, move and look. |
These testimonials are accurate and these persons are real: you can ask to be in put in contact with one of them.
ENHANCE YOUR POSTURE |
Elegance
is to
beauty,
what good posture
is to
fitness.
The way you feel, move and look.
These 3 elements, though subjective, are key to Postural Transformation
Feel
We will use your feedback to ensure that the treatment does not lead to voluntary corrections (tiring & impossible to hold), does impact positively your breath and leaves you with an enjoyable sensation… Most techniques are applied with your active participation & expressions of your sensations. Each session starts & ends with your feedback. |
Move
Our first target is the standing still posture. But we will see that you can bring in new sensations and corrected misalignments into action: walking, running, sitting, etc. Self-awareness (sometimes through “images”), breathing support and some others "tips" will be used to enable you to on board this new sets of attitudes… |
Look
Aesthetic is only a consequence but it is a welcomed one (and incidentally is a good feedback of tranformation). At first, you will feel the target positions as "artificial" and fear that it might look “stuck up”. But It is amasing, from an objective perspective, to see the aesthetic transformation happening: the “after” posture looks always more assured, gracious, and, if you allow me, with royal touch to it. |
Bringing in the "science" & THE "TECHNIQUES"
As much as you (and what you feel) are in the centre of attention, we will nevertheless take a 2 step objective view of your body [bone positions & soft tissue arrangement], and more precisely on 3 segments:
We will than link the skeletal positioning & soft tissue assessment of these 3 main segments and that will lead to a treatment orientation (strategy). And the "we" is inclusive: it means you are involved in the process...
Finding the key(s) (in one or several of these segments) to unlock good posture is the name of the game.
This will be done through a combination of myofascial massage techniques, proprioceptive exercises, muscular exercises and use of biomechanical theories balanced by use of “images”.

Posture varietiesThere are a lot of variations of postures out there.
If they are not a direct problem, they engage on a path where esthetics and normal functional behaviour is at risk. After many years of bad posture, some movements become difficult & reversing the situation can be problematic. |
Process
Stage 0: The treatment starts with a Postural Analysis, resulting in a Treatment Strategy.
Stage 1 : Treatment. After 4 treatment sessions of 1h (weekly), we evaluate the results and decide to pause or engage into Stage 2. Stage 2 : Follow up [optional] 4 sessions, one every week or every 2 weeks. This stage ends with a second evaluation and a report. |
